Quick Start: Curve Editing - Depth Shift

 

1.Open the database file to be edited.

2.From Data Editing dropdown menu select Baseline Shift.

3.Select the on-depth curve which will act as the depth reference.

4.Select the off-depth curve that needs depth correction.

5.Select a companion curve if needed for additional depth correlation assistance.

6.Select a second companion curve or depth reference curve.

7.Adjust the scale of the plot to attain a clear visibility of the peaks.

8.Choose preferred function: Drag, Two Point, Keys, or Autoshift to identify correlating depth points and to connect.

9.Once the depth shift is completed, click the Save Shifts button. Note: This only saves the Defined Depth Shifts.

10.Now, select all the desired curves that need to be shifted, and  click the “Save to database” button to apply them.

11.“Exit” or select another application using Process Apps dropdown. If exiting, save open applications first.
